Who is this course aimed at?
The course is aimed at IRATA trained staff/ individuals and anyone who works at height. The course is also relevant for individuals who climb as a recreational pastime.

What will I be doing on the course?
You will learn the core skills required to deal with life threatening illnesses and injuries. In addition the course covers immediate first aid treatment of the most common injuries sustained whilst working at height. You will also cover the fundamental elements of suspension trauma.

How do I study the course?
The course is run over a single day, with approximately 7 hrs contact time.

What can I do after the course?
The 2 and 4 day EMRAH courses are both relevant to increase your knowledge; however an Appointed Person First Aid or Four Day First Aid at Work certificate respectively are required to attend these courses.

Certificate is valid for 12 months.
