Who is this course for?
Anyone who wants to start judging surfing contests with an internationally recognised judging qualification.

What are the entry requirements?
A knowledge of the sport and an understanding of the competitionformat.

What will I be doing on the course?
Learning all about the role of a judge in surf competitions. Some of the things you will learn on this course include scoring criteria, assessing the difficulty level of manouvres and knowledge of the interference rules. Course content includes shortboard, longboard and some bodyboard judging criteria.

How do I study the course?
The course is delivered by international level trainer assessors at the ISA accredited training centre at Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay, Cornwall. The course will be delivered using a combination of workshops and video footage of competition scenarios. The course runs for one full day (8/9 hrs).

What can I do after the course?
Work as a surf contest judge at home and abroad.
