Emergency Response Activity Supervisor

This new course from the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) is offered in Cornwall exclusively by The Training Centre. It enables activity supervisors, school teachers and other group leaders who plan to do activities on or near water to learn important lifesaving skills and what to do in the case of an emergency.

What are the entry requirements
Must be at least 16 years of age. Be able to swim a distance of 50m comfortably (Back and front)

Activity supervisors, school teachers and group leaders

What will I be doing / how do I study?
A combination of classroom theory, practical life support and water sessions culminating in an assessment at Lusty Glaze Beach.

What can I do after the course?
Students may want to progress on to other qualification based courses such as RLSS Assistant Lifeguard, RLSS National Beach Lifeguard Qualification or HSE First Aid at Work.

Duration: 2 days

Cost: £145 pp

Provisional dates: Call for 2010 dates. Courses require a minimum number of people to run.
