Trainee Lifeguards Flock to Cornwall

Hundreds of rookie lifeguards from across the UK and abroad are embarking on new outdoors careers by enrolling on the National Beach Lifeguard Qualification course at The Training Centre in Newquay. Cornwall's First Expedition First Aid Course

The Training Centre ran a special first aid course for two people going on separate global expeditions. The remote medicine course was designed to help the expedition members provide emergency first aid when they are far away from medical attention. Participants Kevin Meyers and Louise Matthews are sponsored by Cornish First Aid Supplies for their trips to the Gobi Desert and the Amazon.
