First Aid for Parents
Paediatric First Aid is suitable for parents and carers of small children who want to learn the basics of first aid care. The course teaches basic first aid principles for use in treating injured babies and infants in everyday life.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no entry requirements for this course
Who is this course aimed at?
Parents, Grandparents, Child minders, Youth workers, Teachers etc. Anyone who looks after or may come into contact with children.
What will I be doing on the course?
Learning how to treat children and infants, including summoning help, dealing with conscious / unconscious patients, dealing with bleeding and resuscitation.
How do I study the course?
Short instructional course. Maxiumum 2 hours.
What can I do after the course?
More confident when working with children, or own family.
How long is the certificate valid for?
One year.
